I am still incredulous that I am a runner up in Fish's One Page Story. And honoured too.
Should I go to Cork for the prize giving? It's a long way and the pirate and I are both students - very, very mature ones. But it looks so much fun and to be with other writers would be like coming home.

Hi Liane. Yes, tis me. My tartan too. My father always said it had a yellow streak in it but I'm sure we were brave sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHelen - my sister's been and said it was like England fifty years ago. Not sure how she knows that, being thirtyish.
Lane - We'll see. I have some first edition books I may flog on ebay but there is also the question of food bills etc. Don't teenagers eat a lot? Mine just open the fridge doors and graze.
